The Station House is a Louisbourg favourite since 1991
It is behind the Royal Bank on Harbourfront Crescent.
It has an awesome view of the Harbour. It is a good place to meet locals. Coffee and conversation is a popular pastime.
John & Marlene Drolet are the genial hosts and serve up delicious meals and local knowledge too.
John is also the harbourmaster so has to duck out to meet a ship once in a while. Stop by for a quick snack or a proper dinner. You will be glad you did.
The Station House is built on the Site of the old Sydney & Louisbourg Railway Yard. Once a huge coal pier jutted out into the harbour and bunkered ships from all over the world. The Tunnel beside the Playhouse is all that remains.
